Which internet browsers can I use?

Community Data Solutions updated its encryption technology in late 2017.

These changes were in relation to the security framework that applies each time you use your CDS Client Relationship Management database (CRM).

Information is sent from your PC browser to the CDS CRM each time you view or update information. During this exchange the information is encrypted to prevent data theft. The technology responsible for the encryption is built into the web browser you are using. As technology evolves, old web browsers no longer support the latest encryption technology and become insecure.

We require all CDS Customers to acquire and use a modern supported browser, such as:

    • Google’s Chrome/Chromium (this is our recommended browser)
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Mozilla’s Firefox
    • Apple’s Safari

The current version of these browsers support the latest in security protocols (TLSv1.2) in addition to having more functionality and support.

We do not support older browser versions (including Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11).
