Once an NDIS support plan has been created, the Service Bookings of that support plan are added. The Service Bookings include what services your agency will provide and the budget for these services.
When planned activities are recorded, session attendance and claims are created. The Claim amounts are calculated based on selected support items.
The remaining budget is then calculated based on the original budget minus the claimed amounts. There are multiple ways to view the remaining budget for a client’s service booking and plan.
Instructions
Step 1. Log into your CRM database (refer to Logging On for further information).
Step 2. Search for the required NDIS Client.
If the client you need does not exist in your database, continue with the creation of a new client, ensuring the Client’s NDIS number is captured.
Step 3. View the Client record
Step 4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the NDIS Support Plan sub-panel.
Step 5. Select the required Support Plan
Step 6. Scroll to the Service Booking subpanel
The original dollar amount allocated (budget) is listed for each service booking, along with the remaining service booking budget. In the example above, no claims have been created against the support plan.
If a activity and claim are added to the support plan, the remaining service booking budget is updated.
Step 7. To view the information in a report format, including totals, select the NDIS Support Plan Budget Report from the Shortcuts pane
Once the report has completed processing, click the ‘Click Here to Download’ link
The Report will display in your browser, or open with your PDF viewer, depending on your computer’s settings.
The NDIS – Support Plan Budget Report is displayed.
The Report lists the Client NDIS and Plan information, including all service booking units delivered and remaining.
