The DEX (Data Exchange) is a program reporting platform implemented by the Department of Social Services. Since it’s creation it has been expanded to allow reporting to multiple government departments.
It allows organisations with Government funding to report their service delivery information in a standard way.
The Data Exchange Reporting Dashboards have been created to allow you to easily see the status and details of your DEX funded programs.
The Dashboards consist of the following:
DEX Dashboard – Summary Dashboard
The Summary Dashboard is your starting point. It contains summary information in relation to Client Attendance, Cases and Sessions recorded for the selected reporting period.

DEX Dashboard – Client Attendance Dashboard
The Client Attendance Dashboard provides more information relating to Client Attendance for the selected reporting period. It includes attendance data split by Funding Agreement, CRM Module and Site.
There is also a comparison between the current reporting period and the 2 previous reporting periods for Identified vs Unidentified and New vs Existing Clients.
DEX Dashboard – Casework Dashboard
The Casework Dashboard provides more information relating to Cases for the selected reporting period. It includes Case data split by Funding Agreement, CRM Module and Site.
There is also a comparison between the current reporting period and the 2 previous reporting periods for New and Returning Cases by Funding Agreement.
DEX Dashboard – Session Dashboard
The Session Dashboard provides more information relating to Sessions for the selected reporting period. It includes Session data split by Funding Agreement, CRM Module, Sites and Session Output.
There is also a comparison between the current reporting period and the 2 previous reporting periods by Funding Agreement.
